If you came to my "Playful Project" Exhibition, then you know what a powerful, formative experience the "Playful Project" artist in residency was for me. So much so that I decided to start another self directed residency immediately following the formal launch of my "Playful Project" exhibit. It was right at the conclusion of my Playful Project residency in March 2023 that I found out I was pregnant.
During January through March, I enjoyed exploring themes of motherhood including pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and mothering young children. I am excited to continue to explore these themes over the coming months as I prepare to welcome new life into my world.
